Polgar Krisztina: A Woman of Many Names
While searching for pictures of Polgar, I came across many different version of her name. I got the original, Polgar Krisztina, as well as Kriszti Polgar and Polgar Kriszti. I assume it’s just a difference in translation from her home country of Hungary to our way of saying her name in English. Speaking of Hungary, be right back…

Her name is Polgár Krisztina as you can see on the cover of the Maxim. Her family name is Polgár and her christian name is Krisztina (Christine in English). Kriszti is a nick name, I think parallel with Christy.

( In Hungary we write first the family name and then the christian name.)
