Becki Newton is an American actress best known for her role as Amanda Tanen, in the hit TV series Ugly Betty. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, this beautiful lady seems to be musically inclined, for she likes performing in musicals and plays at local theaters, while she’s still a student. After her graduation, she then moved to New York City to pursue her acting career. With her near perfect face, and a smile that can launch a thousand ships, she landed several roles in TV ads. She has been featured also as writer and host for a celebrity interview show on TBS called “Movie Junky”.
